Delhi: Delivery Drone Crashes On Metro Tracks

| Updated: December 25, 2022 19:08

A drone that crashed on the tracks at 3 pm today caused the Delhi Metro to momentarily close the Jasola Vihar station.

According to officials, the police promptly located the drone and began an inquiry. A pharma company owns the drone. The authorities claimed that after examining the drone, they discovered some medications. The police said without providing any information that the corporation has been utilising the drone to transport medications.

“Magenta Line Update Services are not available between Jasola Vihar Shaheen Bagh to Botanical Garden due to security reasons. Normal services on all other lines,” the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation tweeted.

The metro route is now operational. Drone use without authorization from the government is prohibited, according to experts, and drones pose a concern in high-security locations.
