The national executive meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will take place in New Delhi from January 16 to 17, according to the informed sources. Earlier, there were speculations that Madhya Pradesh or Karnataka would be the locations for the national executive meeting.
The top leaders would likely review its preparations for the Lok Sabha elections in 2024 and discuss their strategy for the upcoming State Assembly elections during the meeting. Given that the BJP lost in the Himachal Pradesh and Delhi Municipal elections, the leaders are also likely to review the outcomes of the 2022 state elections.
Later this month, Nadda’s three-year stint as party president comes to a conclusion. Given the upcoming elections, there is a good chance that his term will be extended.
Every year, the party holds two national executive meetings, typically one in the first quarter and one in the final. Hyderabad hosted the most recent executive meeting in October last year.
