A shocking news incident has emerged from Ahmedabad, where a youth was allegedly killed by his fellow roommates. One might assume the reason was some rivalry or a major dispute, but no—the youth was reportedly killed for delaying in opening the door for his roommates.
The victim, Hiren Solanki, was living in a PG located in Satyanarayan Society in the Vejalpur area of Ahmedabad along with two other roommates, Mahaveersinh Mahobatsinh Jadav and Ranveersinh Bharatsinh Sindhav. The 25-year-old Hiren was severely injured after being attacked by the two roommates, during which he was allegedly stabbed in the abdomen.
The victim’s father, Mensi Solanki, was informed by the PG authorities. He said that on Wednesday, he received a call from the PG authorities informing him to come to Ahmedabad as his son had been involved in a fight with his roommates. After receiving the call, he and Hiren’s younger brother rushed to Ahmedabad, after which they were directed to reach Sola Civil Hospital, where they were informed that Hiren had died.
The police have filed an FIR in the matter and started further investigation based on a complaint received from Hiren’s father, a resident of Gadu village in Junagadh. The two roommates have been arrested for the crime.
As per the victim’s father, Hiren had been working in Ahmedabad for the last three months and was living in the Vejalpur PG.
According to the police report, of the two roommates accused of attacking Hiren, one, Jadav, had shifted to Ahmedabad just a week ago and was looking for a job, whereas the other, Sindhav, had come to Ahmedabad eight months ago and was working in the marketing department of a private company.
The police also informed that all three were sharing the same room in the PG, and the dispute allegedly occurred over a delay in opening the door.
