In the wake of emerging Covid-19 cases in Gujarat, the Gujarat government has decided to impose night curfew from December 25 to December 31 in eight metros from 11 pm to 5 am.
The state is witnessing an exponential surge in the Omicron variant cases of Covid-19 in cities like Ahmedabad. The city recorded a 39 per cent jump in cases in a single day from December 21 to December 22. Gujarat presently stands at a total of 30 cases of Omicron Covid-19 variant.
To curb the spread of this highly trasmissible virus, gujarat government has taken this stern step of enforcing night curfew in eight cities.
