AAP’s Kang Takes On Congress Stand On Bagga Arrest

| Updated: May 7, 2022 17:40

According to Malvinder Singh Kang, AAP’s Punjab chief spokesperson, Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga was a fake news hawker and Punjab Police is working with professionalism. Bagga, the BJP Delhi spokesperson, was arrested by Punjab police yesterday for “inciting communal tension” through posts on social media.

In a recent tweet by Kang, he stated that “Bagga is a notorious fake news peddler. Just before the run-up to Punjab elections he tweeted a fabricated letter and a morphed video to stir up communal tensions. Punjab is a fertile land but not for hatred. The state police in a professional manner.”

He further added many tweets to support his stand. “It is baffling to see the Congress ecosystem rallying behind the hate-monger. Both BJP and Congress have enjoyed cozy clubs, always joined hands for devious purposes. After all, they are birds of a feather flocking together.”

He questioned Jignesh Mevani’s arrest. “When Jignesh was arrested in Gujrat by Assam police for merely tweeting on Modi, the Congress maintained a studied silence. Bagga, called our farmers terrorists, used cuss words for Sonia Gandhi and labelled Sikhs anti-national. There has to be more to INC’s change of heart.”

He concluded with a strong statement pronouncing “BJP and Congress are actually brothers from different mothers.”
