ACPC Extends Registration Deadline For Admission In Engineering Courses In Gujarat

The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) has extended the registration deadline for degree admission for admission to the first year of engineering degree courses and diplomas. After the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board announced the results of Class 12 Science, the registration for admission to the first year of the engineering degree course and diploma started on May 30, while the registration for the diploma to degree pharmacy course started from June 9.

The last date of registration for the first-year degree course was 18 July and for the diploma courses 30 July. As the Class 12 CBSE and ICSE results are yet to be declared, the deadline for both the courses has been extended to July 31.

A total of 37,660 students have registered in the first round of admission to the first-year engineering degree course, out of which 10,330 have registered for the diploma to a degree in pharmacy and 27,330 for the first-year engineering degree course

The provisional merit list for the first-year engineering degree course will be declared on August 12, while the provisional merit list for degree-diploma pharmacy will be declared on August 20

This year the admission process started for 64,262 seats which is 2 thousand seats less than last year. 600 new seats have been increased in government engineering colleges. 95 percent of government-granted colleges and 50 percent of private colleges and universities will get admission on the basis of GUJCET. 5 percent seats of government and grant colleges will be given on the basis of JEE.
