The Adani Group has entered into a partnership with ITE Education Services (ITEES) of Singapore to build a skilled talent pipeline for industries across sectors such as green energy, manufacturing, hi-tech, project excellence, and industrial design. The initiative aims to develop an industry-ready workforce by creating internationally benchmarked schools of excellence.
The Adani family has committed to donating over Rs 2,000 crore towards the establishment of these schools, a part of the Group’s larger Rs 10,000 crore social donation initiative. Earlier this week, the Group also announced a Rs 6,000 crore investment towards building Adani Health Cities (AHCs) in collaboration with the US-based Mayo Clinic.
Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, announced the launch of the world’s largest and most advanced finishing school in Mundra, Gujarat, via a post on X.
He stated, “Delighted to announce one of India’s largest Skill and Employ initiatives! In partnership with Singapore’s ITEES, the global leader in technical training, the Adani Group is launching the world’s largest finishing school in Mundra.”
The state-of-the-art facility will combine AI-driven immersive learning with advanced innovation centres, aiming to train over 25,000 learners annually to support the ‘Make in India’ movement. The students, selected from fresh graduates and diploma holders with vocational and technical qualifications from ITIs or Polytechnics, will undergo an intensive boot camp experience at the Adani Global Skills Academy.
Each school will focus on selecting students based on their industry and career aspirations, with a view to ensuring that the graduates are industry-ready from day one. The trained professionals will be employed within the Adani Group and across the broader industry, depending on their field of study.
Robin Bhowmik, CEO of Adani Skills and Education, emphasised the significance of this partnership in building high-level technical talent. He stated, “This partnership is critical to our initiative as a Group to build high-level technical talent and is in line with our commitment towards the Make-in-India focus across our portfolio.”
The collaboration also includes academic quality assurance, certification-led learning pathways, faculty and student exchange programmes, and leadership development. This partnership aims to embed application-led learning to support industries across sectors and contribute to the vision of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
Suresh Natarajan, CEO of ITEES, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are pleased to collaborate with the Adani Group to share ITE’s expertise and knowledge in skills education and training. Through this meaningful partnership, ITEES aims to enhance skill development and create lasting impact by transforming education and lives.”
