Adani Turns 60! Priti Adani Tweets His Vintage Image With Touching Words

As Gautum Adani, the billionaire of Asia celebrates his 60th birthday on June 24, Priti Adani penned an emotional note for her husband. She shared a monochromatic vintage picture of the pioneer on Twitter with a heartfelt message.

Along with his birthday, the family also celebrates the birth anniversary of his father, Shantilal Adani. In the light of the occasion, they donated ₹60,000 crores to many social causes. Adani Foundation shall take notice of the administration for the same. They pledged towards charitable activities related to healthcare, education, and skill development, especially in rural India.

Adani In The List Of Philanthropists

Adani joined lines with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Warren Buffett, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, who committed large parts of their wealth to philanthropy. As per the sources, he pledged double the amount Bill Gates and Melinda French donated in 2021.

The Adani group started with a small agri-trading firm in 1988. Now, the firm has transformed into a syndicate of coal trading, mining, logistics, power generation, and distribution industries.

Recently, the company forayed into green energy, airports, data centers, and cement. The billionaire founder and richest man of Asia, also vowed to invest $70 billion by 2030 to make his firm the largest renewable energy producer in the world.

Adani Foundation, founded in 1996, has worked on social programs in the rural frontier of India. According to its website, it helped more than 3.7 million people in 2,409 villages across 16 states.

Adani, a Gujarati college dropout, began his career in Mumbai’s diamond industry. Later, he returned to Gujarat to help his brother run his plastic business. In 1988, he established Adani Enterprises Ltd. as an agri-trading company. Further, it morphed into the flagship firm for the syndicate.

Gautam’s wife, Priti, is a qualified doctor with a bachelor’s in Dental Surgery (BDS). Moreover, she has been spearheading Adani Foundation for two decades now.
