Ahmedabad is once again gearing up for the grand Navratri festival. Beginning October 15, the 9-day celebration of power and devotion is expected to surpass the scale of previous years’ celebrations. Renowned folk singer and Dandiya King Kirtidan Gadhvi will grace the event with his performance. The festival will witness both traditional and contemporary Garba and Dandiya Raas dances.
During a press conference on Tuesday at Rajpath Club, Kirtidan Gadhvi, a known figure in the realm of Dandiya Raas and Garba, informed about this year’s most special-themed Navratri festival. Specially choreographed Garbas dedicated to Mataji will be a highlight of this year’s festival.
Kirtidan Gadhvi, a well-traveled artist, has observed Indians celebrating Garba with unwavering enthusiasm, even on foreign soil. While more than 100 to 2,000 participants have already set world records for Garba in the USA, Ahmedabad’s Garba enthusiasts are gearing up for daily revelry, showcasing their passion for this traditional dance form.
Safety and convenience will be paramount at the event, with high-quality theme-based decorations, ample parking facilities, and comprehensive security measures, including bouncers and CCTV cameras. Navratri festival in Swami Nagar on SP Ring Road is all set to organise gand garba performance on a unique theme.
Devang Bhatt, an organiser, expressed his pride in Gujarat and the nation, underscoring the event’s celebrity status and its ability to dazzle attendees. Key individuals such as Jarvis Bhatt, JP Entertainment’s Jignesh Patel, Joker’s Aina Ravi Chhatwani and Yogesh Rami from YO Rami Events have played pivotal roles in the success of this remarkable festival.
