The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in its forecast has said that with a probable marginal rise in the minimum temperature by 2 to 4 Degrees Celsius in the coming three to four days, the city is expected to experience a minimum of 13 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. The cause of the increase in the temperature is the alteration in the wind direction to north-easterly towards easterly.
On the prevailing cold wave conditions in Kutch, the IMD said that it is likely to end by Monday. With a minimum of 7.1 degrees Celsius, Naliya recorded the lowest temperature in Gujarat. Deesa followed Naliya to record a minimum of 8.2 degrees Celsius and then Kandla with a minimum of 8.9 degrees Celsius.
