India’s third and Gujarat’s first Vande Bharat Express will begin service between Gandhinagar and Mumbai on September 30. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the train.

A Chair car seat in the Vande Bharat train which will operate six days per week would cost around Rs. 1200 rupees. An executive chair car seat will likely cost around Rs.2500 rupees.

The Railway Minister stated that by the end of the year, 75 Vande Bharat Express trains will connect all the country’s major cities. The Sabarmati Integrated Transport Hub will be launched in February. An integrated transport hub is being prepared at Sabarmati in Ahmedabad as part of the bullet train project.

At a cost of 332 crores, Block A is being constructed with 9 levels on 3.54 hectares. Block B is being constructed with 7 floors. Building A would house offices while building B will house hotels, malls, and other retail establishments.

The bullet train station at Sabarmati will be connected to the third floor of this hub through a 10-meter-wide footbridge. The 8-meter-wide footbridge on the second level will connect the metro, BRTS, and Sabarmati railway station.

Minister of Railways visited Kalupur station also. He revealed plans to incorporate the historic Jhulta Minara as a tourist attraction into the development.

The Vastral to Thaltej and APMC to Motera metro routes could begin on September 30. It is likely that the metro may be declared open by Prime Minister Modi, during his visit to the state.
