Recording 2.5 degrees less than the normal minimum temperature, Ahmedabad witnessed a minimum of 11.2 degrees Celsius on Sunday which was 12.7 degrees on Saturday, said the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature in the city was recorded to be 3.8 degrees less than normal temperature at 25.8 degrees Celsius. The IMD added that the temperature of the city is expected to go down at around 10 degrees Celsius on Monday.
The IMD in its forecast added that the parts of Kutch district will continue to experience the cold wave conditions. Also, Naliya experienced the coldest weather in the state at 4.2 degrees Celsius followed by Deesa at 7.8 degrees Celsius and then Kandla at 9.6 degrees Celsius.
