Amit Shah Inaugurates Shri Tribhuvandas Patel Sahakar Bhavan

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the newly constructed Shri Tribhuvandas Patel Sahakar Bhavan, GUJCOMASOL, Gandhinagar, on 10th April 2022.

Amit Shah addressed the gathering and explained the importance of the cooperative sector in the country’s economy. He also focused on the necessity of computerization and more professional recruitment in the cooperative sector. 

Union Minister Amit Shah welcomed the dignitaries in his speech. Mr. Dilipbhai Sandhani, Chairman, Gujcomasol, graced the event with his presence. In his speech, he added that the function of Gujcomasol is to make rural life vibrant. 

The Home Minister of India said that the government aims to increase the contribution of the cooperative sector to the country’s economy in the next five years. The goal is to strengthen it for the benefit of the people. At the same time, Shah mentions PM Modi’s dream to achieve an economy of 3 trillion. 

Shah mentioned many names like Mahatama Gandhi, Sardar Patel, and Morarji Desai, who instilled the spirit of cooperation in Indian citizens since independence. He added Tribhuvandas Patel’s name and said that he harmonized the feeling of professionalism with the spirit of cooperation in Gujarat.

Amit Shah threw some light on the Amrut Mahotsav of Independence as well. He asserted that the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, established the Ministry of Cooperation in India.

Shah congratulated Gujcomasol, founded in 1905, for producing high-quality peanut oil and constructing 20 mega stalls. He cited that the central government has allocated Rs. 200 crores for developing the cooperative sector alone. 

The cooperative sector has contributed to agricultural credit, fertilizer distribution, production, and sugar manufacturing. The government has also initiated policy and database for developing the cooperative sector.

Many other personalities like Agriculture Minister Radhavjibhai Patel, Minister for Cooperation and Industry Jagdishbhai Vishwakarma, Deputy Speaker of Gujarat Legislative Assembly Jethabhai Bharwad, Chairman of Amul Dairy Shri Shamalbhai Patel, and Vice Chairman of Gujcomasol Shri Govindbhai Parmar, were also present.
