Bollywood actress Ananya Panday was questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for the second time on Friday, wherein she denied all the allegations made on her of supplying drugs to Aryan Khan.
The WhatsApp chats of Aryan Khan, an accused in the Mumbai cruise drug haul case, are investigated as part of the probe. In one of the WhatsApp chats, Aryan was discussing procurement and consumption of drugs with Ananya Pandey. Based on these chats, Ananya was summoned by the NCB on Thursday and for the second time on Friday at the NCB office in Mumbai. She will be called again if required, said the NCB officials.
Aryan and Ananya are close family friends and know each other from childhood. Sources stated that the WhatsApp chats have a few more names of celebrities and their children, who are likely to be summoned next week.
Apart from this, Aryan’s bail application is likely to come upon October 26 before the Bombay high court. However, the special court hearing the case denied bail on the basis of the evidence in the case.
