Australian Minister Stuart Ayres Visits Gujarat; Thanks CM Patel

Minister of Western Sydney Stuart Ayres, the Minister of Enterprise, Investment and Trade of New South Wales, paid a visit to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar on July 27, 2022. During the visit, he expressed his contentment with the recent agreement between Gujarat and New South Wales in 2018. He mentioned that the bridge of cooperation between the two regions has become sounder.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel believes that the participation of New South Wales can add new dimensions to Gujarat’s leadership in education, tourism, and non-conventional energy. CM Patel expressed his gratitude toward PM Modi for showing Gujarat direction to development in global trends.

Furthermore, Stuart Ayres added that a business delegation from his nation would visit Gujarat and India each year to promote mutual business and commercial relations. He also extended an invitation to the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

Ayres also mentioned that the Australian delegation participated in the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in 2021. He also expressed his excitement to do it again in 2022, especially after the post-COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, CM Patel asked them to visit the Statue Of Unity in Vadodara and presented a replica to the Australian delegation.

Rajkumar, Additional Chief Secretary of Industries Department, Pankaj Joshi, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister, Rahul Gupta, Commissioner of Industries, and other senior officials also joined the meeting.
