BSG Bhuj troops foiled an infiltration attempt from Pakistan’s side in the Lakhpatwari creek area. This happened when the BSF Bhuj Troops were on their regular patrolling on January 31, 2022, in the general area of Lakhpatwari creek and observed movement of some Pakistani fishing boats with 4-5 Pak fishermen. The lakhpatwari Creek is located at the sir mouth in the sir creek area. Reportedly, the Pakistani fishermen were attempting to enter into Indian territory by taking the advantage of the rough sea terrain of the area.

An alert patrol party of BSF intercepted the Pakistani intruders the moment they tried to enter into Indian territory. Meanwhile, they were observing the intruders, the Pakistani intruders even tried to escape when they spotted the BSF patrol party, the security force added.

The BSF patrol party chased them, apprehended one Pakistani fisherman and seized three Pakistani fishing boats. However, rest of the Pakistani fishermen managed to escape into Pakistani territory by taking advantage of the slushy and marshy terrain of the area. Later, the three seized boats were searched and nothing suspicious was recovered from them.

Meanwhile, a thorough search operation of the area has been launched, which is still underway. As of now, nothing suspicious has been recovered from the area.
