Members of BTS, including RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, made an unexpected appearance at the Oscars 2022. The group, however, was not present at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The group praised Disney and Pixar animated films in a pre-recorded segment called Favorite Film Musical With BTS.
Jimin discussed Coco, a Pixar/Disney animated film that won two Oscars in 2017. RM stated, “It’s a true work of art! I saw it three times. I also cried a lot.” “Truly, Pixar is incredible,” V said. “I didn’t cry, though,” Jimin added.
J-Hope then stated, “Overall, I like Disney movies.” “Disney movies stimulate emotions well,” Jin added. “I really liked Aladdin,” J-Hope added. “Shout out to Will Smith, Aladdin!” RM concluded. Will Smith appeared in Aladdin, a 2019 American musical fantasy film directed by Guy Ritchie and produced by Walt Disney Pictures.
