Gujarat State BJP President C R Paatil took a 10-day break at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, just before election campaigning in Gujarat reaches its peak. Gujarat faces Assembly elections in December.
C R Paatil, the Gujarat MP who is also the State Party president came back after a 10-day break, all invigorated and fresh, with the added bonus of having lost six kgs of weight.
Paatil told journalists that PM Modi suggested he go to the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) in New Delhi. Paatil underwent ayurvedic and naturopathy treatments there. This also included drinking ghee for detoxification for three days.
Paatil said PM Modi always took much care about the health and welfare of every party worker. Modiji suggested that I undergo this treatment, he said. Paatil during his stay underwent udwairthanam (powdered dal) and oil massages besides a host of other treatments. “all the dark circles under my eyes have also vanished”, he said.
Paatil thanked PM Modi for the AYUSH initiative and bringing Ayurveda under the national authority and giving it a status similar to AIIMS. Paatil said there were more than 71 therapies available at the AIIA(All India Institute of Ayurveda) which are life-changing. Every day, more than 3000 people take treatment and therapies here, he said. He also informed that his wife Gangaben accompanied him. Her diabetes dropped to 140 from 300 after the 10-day stay, he said.
AIIA is an apex body of Ayurveda in India that engages in a synergy between traditional Indian methods of treatment combining it with modern tools.
