CEPT University has achieved a 5-star plus rating in the Gujarat State Institutional Rating Framework (GSRIF) 2024, retaining its position as the top institution in the Architecture category. This recognition highlights CEPT University’s continuous commitment to academic excellence and leadership in the field.
Prof Tridip Suhrud, Provost of CEPT University, said, “CEPT University remains resolutely dedicated to providing excellence across architecture, planning, design, technology, urban management, education and research. We are deeply honoured to receive the 5-star plus rating and to be ranked first in the architecture category in Gujarat, alongside the state’s finest educational institutions.”
In addition to this honour, CEPT University was ranked sixth in the Architecture and Planning category in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) earlier this year. This achievement makes CEPT University the only private institution to consistently feature in the top 10 in this category over the years.
“This recognition further strengthens our resolve to continue offering world-class education, advancing innovative research and developing impactful solutions in collaboration with industry partners,” Suhrud added.
What is GSRIF?
The GSRIF was introduced by the Government of Gujarat, drawing inspiration from the NIRF established by the Government of India. The GSRIF initiative aims to foster the development of world-class institutions of excellence, to raise educational standards in the state of Gujarat. Through these rankings, the government seeks to recognise and promote the best-performing institutions that contribute significantly to the growth and development of higher education.
