Students from CEPT University’s faculty of Technology, Ahmedabad, have brought flying colours to the institute. They grabbed first place in the Yagachi Resort Masterplan Competition organised by Snaptrude Inc. in association with Access Developers Pvt. Ltd.
Students and professionals from the field of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Interior Design, and Landscape could participate in the competition.
Moreover, the challenge was to develop and design a master plan of more than 0.75 sq km area comprising infrastructure design of 250 Villas with different configurations, 70+ row villas and a Clubhouse with banquet spaces, multi-purpose sports stadium, pub and lounge bar, themed cafes etc. at a site located on the Yagachi River, Karnataka. Samved Patel, Kathan Patel, Darshan Soni, Yash Mistry, and Hitarth Shah secured first place in the competition.
CEPT University is also set to host the CEPT Excellence Awards 2022 Exhibition on Saturday, September 10, from 5:30 PM. They aim to recognise and celebrate the best student work as a part of studio units each semester. Moreover, a special jury identifies it.
For the Spring 2022 Semester, the jury has shortlisted 19 individual works and ten studio units for Excellence Award Presentation. Furthermore, the top three projects will get shortlisted for the CEPT Gujral Foundation Excellence Awards.
