CM Patel Applauds Jai Ambe Mandbuddhi Mahila Trust For Its Service To Society

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today visited the Jai Ambe Mandbuddhi Mahila Samaj Seva Trust in Bayad of Aravalli, Sabarkantha district, to get an understanding of the organisation and listen to the people’s concerns.

This trust takes mentally challenged women in and provides then with food and shelter as well as medical treatments. Many a times, old people who are physically and mentally very weak and unable to take care of themselves are also brought in. Volunteers and common people in the community often contact the trust if they spot individuals wandering in the street that need help. These people have often been abandoned by their families or have gotten lost in the streets for ages.

CM Patel said that there are many individuals in the society whose thinking ability is very weak in proportion to their age, caring for such people is the moral duty of the society. “Jai Ambe Mandabuddhi Mahila Samaj Seva Trust takes care of such women. The work and visits of such organisations are a new inspiration for public service,” he added.

At any given time, at least 50 women are sheltered at the centre. So far, nearly 120 women have been provided treatment and emotional support and successfully reunited with their families. The organisation offers guidance and support to the family members so that they can take care of their loved-one correctly.

The organisation also diagnoses a sick or disabled person. So far, the trust has also conducted the funeral of 14 unclaimed bodies handed over by the police.

The women taking shelter in the institute interacted with CM Patel and expressed their gratitude towards the trust and also thanked him for the visit.
