After the entry of Omicron in Gujarat, the state is also witnessing a spike in the daily cases of Covid-19. Three children in three schools of Valsad district have tested positive on December 25. This rapid rise in number of cases have resulted in increased worries among parents.
One among the three who are tested positive, is a student of a school from killa-Pardi town of Valsad district. Following this, RTPCR testing was done on remaining 50 children of the school. And reportedly, all of them have tested negative. However, students are advised not to come to school until further notice.
Another student studying in grade 12 in DCO Public High School has also tested positive. The health department informed the Valsad Education officer as and when they became aware of the news. It was then reported to Pardi’s DCO High School Principal Sunil Patel.
As soon as this news was received, RTPCR test of teachers was conducted.
