Experienced batsman David Warner will land on the Sydney Cricket Ground by helicopter to play the match between Sydney Thunder and Sydney Sixers on Friday, after attending his brother’s wedding in Hunter Valley.
The star batsman of Australia, David Warner, will be seen playing in the Big Bash League. David Warner, who retired from Test and ODI, will land on the Sydney Cricket Ground by helicopter to play the BBL match between Sydney Thunder and Sydney Sixers on Friday. David Warner will go straight to the Sydney Cricket Ground after attending his brother’s wedding in Hunter Valley.
David Warner was recently seen playing in the three-match Test series against Pakistan, which was his last series of his Test career. It was decided earlier that Warner would land at the Allianz Stadium next to SCG, but now his helicopter will land on the SCG outfield. Warner’s Sydney Thunder teammate Gurinder Sandhu praised Warner’s commitment to come and play for Thunder.
Gurinder Sandhu said, ‘He is trying hard to come and play for us. He will be happy to see him here. He was great for us last season. Maybe he didn’t score as much as he wanted, but he learned a lot from being in the team. He is a better team man. All the fans love to see him play.’ Sydney Sixers fast bowler Sean Abbott joked about Warner’s Hollywood-style entry and said that Warner’s return will be a treat for the fans. He said, “He is a bit of a Hollywood, isn’t he, he is very Dave. I got a lime bike today and I will do the same tomorrow night and I will meet Dave outside the gate as he lands.”
