The Director-general Of Indian Coast Guard Director-General Krishnaswamy Natarajan, PVSM, PTM, TM, paid a visit to Porbandar today. The D.G arrived at Porbandar on December 16 on a two-day visit to the North-Western Region of the Indian Coast Guard (ICG). He also inspected the ceremonial Guard of Honour at Porbandar.
One of the biggest highlights of the Director-general’s visit was that he inaugurated the housing project at Dharampur, Porbandar which has housing for more than 480 ICG families. The project is one of the largest infrastructure projects of ICG.
Like a true leader, during the visit, Director General also interacted with officers, sailors and family members and complimented them for their perseverance and sustained efforts to maintain the assets in operation worthy condition.
He exhorted the personnel to continue their efforts on achieving high standards of operational readiness
