Does CM Bhupendrabhai Patel Have Any Authority In Gujarat, Asks Gujarat Congress

| Updated: March 29, 2022 23:22

Gujarat Congress President Jagdish Thakor claimed that for the last 3 years, the BJP government has been working tirelessly to destroy the identity and existence of the entire tribal community. Thakor said that the cancellation of the Tapi-Par-Narmada river link project was announced by BJP state president CR Paatil. Now, the citizens of Gujarat want to know whether CR Paatil or Bhupendrabhai Patel is the Chief Minister?

“The Congress party is fighting for the rights and existence of the tribal community. We are opposing the various schemes and projects of the BJP led state government that are harming the tribal community”, Thakor added. Congress claimed that the BJP government should stop the policy of depriving the tribal families living in the eastern strip from Ambaji to Umargam.

He further alleged that the BJP government is targeting the tribal community from Ambaji to Umargam. “Today the whole tribal society is fighting for its survival”, Thakor stressed.

The BJP government is trying to deprive the tribal community of their rights in the name of eviction from the forest, land grabbing, new projects, schemes, roads. BJP government have so far advertised empty promises and they do not lead to tribal development, Jagdish Thakor said.
