Dubai Airshow 2021 has kicked off showcasing the resilience and agility of the aerospace and defense sectors of India. Since the Covid 19 pandemic began, Dubai Airshow event is the first of the big international airshows to re-open.
The Indian Air Force is participating in the Dubai Air Show 2021 with the Sarang Helicopter Display team, Suryakiran Aerobatic Team and the Tejas Demonstration Team.
Air Marshal AP Singh, SASO and EAC visited the event and were introduced to the participating team members from India. Mr Singh spoke to the members and wished them well for the show. He also interacted with the personnel and officers of the UAE armed forces who were working with the IAF contingent.
The Dubai Air Show 2021 is a bi-annual five days event. It features more than 1200 exhibitors including 200 companies participating in the event for the first time. Along with 80 start ups, representatives from 148 countries and more than 160 aircrafts on display.
Talking to the media, Tim Hawes, managing director at show organizers Tarsus F&E LLC said “exciting new sectors and feature areas” is what makes this year’s edition even more exciting.
The show will have a major focus on new technologies, so there will be a brand-new conference stage, Tech Xplore, which will highlight how emerging technologies are helping reboot aviation and changing the entire flying experience.”
