Finally, Pakistan Admits India’s Devastating Airstrikes

| Updated: May 17, 2025 10:51

In a damning admission of India’s audacious precision operation, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif publicly acknowledged the devastating strikes on key Pakistani air bases as part of Operation Sindoor, executed in the early hours of May 10. Speaking during a ceremony at the Pakistan Monument, Sharif revealed that he was jolted awake at 2:30 a.m. by none other than Army Chief General Asim Munir, who informed him of the Indian assault.

“General Munir called me personally at 2.30 in the morning to inform me about the strikes. It was a moment of grave concern,” Sharif admitted before reporters in Islamabad.

The stunning admission was swiftly picked up by BJP’s Amit Malviya, head of the party’s National IT Department, who shared the video on X and hailed it as irrefutable proof of the boldness, accuracy, and reach of India’s military might.

“Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif himself admits that General Asim Munir called him at 2.30 a.m. to inform him that India had bombed Nur Khan Air Base and several other locations. Let that sink in — the Prime Minister was woken up in the middle of the night with news of strikes deep inside Pakistan. This speaks volumes about the scale, precision, and boldness of ‘Operation Sindoor,’” Malviya wrote.

These strikes weren’t without cause. They came as a direct and calculated retaliation for the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which claimed 26 innocent lives. Indian officials unequivocally blamed Pakistan-based terror outfits and pledged a strong response — a promise India delivered on with surgical clarity.

Over the next three days, May 8, 9, and 10, Pakistan launched drone and missile strikes aimed at Indian military bases. These attempts were met with “measured but decisive retaliation” as Indian forces struck back with overwhelming force, decimating Pakistani military targets and asserting clear dominance.

Despite Pakistan’s desperate attempts to manipulate the narrative, the facts laid bare their duplicity. Even as Islamabad claimed that India had targeted civilians, Chief Minister of Sindh province confirmed the Bholari Airbase had been hit, which killed six air force personnel. This not only corroborated India’s assertion that it was targeting military sites, not civilian areas, but also exposed Pakistan’s litany of lies.

Pakistan attempted to cover up the embarrassment by claiming its JF-17 jets had brought down India’s S-400 air defence system at Adampur Airbase. But that claim too fell flat.

In a powerful rebuttal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally visited the Adampur base, silencing the misinformation campaign in one swift and symbolic move.

Finally, after four days of high-intensity missile and drone warfare, both nations arrived at an understanding on May 10 to end hostilities. But not before the world witnessed the unprecedented reach and precision of India’s military in one of the most daring cross-border operations in recent history.
