Former Chief Secretary of Gujarat Government Anil Mukim was administered oath as Chairman of GERC by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar on Wednesday.
After the retirement of Anand Kumar,the post of the Chairperson had fallen vacant on April 5, 2021. Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission is an important regulatory body that has the mandate to regulate the electricity Sector in the State in a transparent, effective, and efficient manner.
In the oath ceremony of the newly appointed GERC Chairman, many dignitaries along with the Chief Minister were present like, Finance and Power Minister of Gujarat Kanubhai Desai, Additional Secretary to Chief Minister Kailashnathan, Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar.
