FWICE Releases First-Ever ‘List Of Holidays’ For Hindi Cinema Workers

Hindi cinema never takes a break and never gets worn out. No matter the time of day or night, activity is ongoing here. The film’s script is still being written while it is still being filmed by some other director.

People must continue working because of the project’s obligations. The personalities in the industry in this situation do not even enjoy public holidays because of the necessity of finishing the filming of the projects on schedule. However, this won’t happen now. There is excellent news for the Hindi film industry.

Now, those who work in the industry will also have access to holidays like Diwali, Holi, and August 15th. From celebrities to crew members, everyone will stay at home on these public holidays.

The days off that the industry would receive in 2023 have been announced by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) in a list. Additionally, the full list of these holidays has been made public. The list indicates that 12 holidays have been declared for the entire year. Celebrities and other people will have one day off each month. For instance, on January 26, Republic Day, the industry will have a holiday, and then on the 18th of February, a festival known as Mahashivratri.

The list that was made public includes a lot of such holidays. This is the first time in recorded history that public holidays have also been declared for the entertainment industry.
