Global Business Leaders to Converge at 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit

The 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, scheduled to take place at the Mahatma Mandir Convention Centre in Gandhinagar from January 10 to 12, is set to welcome twenty-five top executives from some of the world’s largest corporations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the opening ceremony of this prestigious event.

According to high-ranking state government sources, additional attendees are expected at the government’s flagship business, investment, and networking summit. The confirmed participants include global business leaders such as Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of DP World, UAE; Sanjay Mehrotra, CEO of Micron Technologies, US; and John Tuttle, Vice-Chairman of the New York Stock Exchange, US.

The summit will also host Toshihiro Suzuki, President of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan; Michael Syn, President and Head of Global Markets Division, Singapore Exchange; and Keith Svendsen Bertina, CEO of APM Terminals, Denmark.

Other notable attendees include Yusuff Ali M A, Chairman & MD of Lulu Group International, UAE; Takeo Konishi, Director General-South Asia Department, Asian Development Bank, Philippines; and Auguste Tano Kouame, Country Director, World Bank, US.

Government sources have also confirmed the participation of Vladimir Kazbekov, Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer, New Development Bank, Shanghai; Omar al Mahrizi, CEO, Sohar Freezone, Oman; and Erik Solheim, Chairman, Green Hydrogen Development Plan (GHDP), Switzerland.

During overseas promotional tours held in recent months, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and state administration officers extended invitations to these leaders to attend the mega global investment summit. This event promises to be a significant gathering of global business leaders, further enhancing Gujarat’s position as a key player in the global business landscape.
