The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) on Monday released the results for HSC Science stream, general stream and GUJCET 2025.
This year, 93.07 percent students passed class XII exams in all streams. This is higher than last year’s passing percentage of 91.93 percent. In 2023, the passing percentage was 73.27 percent.
Among grade XII science students, boys recorded passing percent of 83.79. In the girls category, 83.2 percent of all those who appeared for the examination passed.
There has also been a rise in the schools having 100 percent result in the science stream. From 127 in 2024, it has gone up to 194 in 2025.
The results could be seen on gseb.org. However, for some time the website crashed due to heavy traffic.
While congratulating the students who have passed the examination, Manish Doshi, Gujarat Congress spokesperson, expressed concern over the decrease in number of students securing A1 and A2 grades in the science stream.
He also pointed out that there has been also a rise in the schools where the result has been less than 10 percent in the science stream.
