As many as 13 officers have been appointed in the Gujarat Administrative Service on a trial basis for the Class-I officers who have passed the joint competitive examination conducted by the Gujarat Public Service Commission.
Raviraj Singh Parmar has been posted at Banaskantha, Bhavdeep Singh Jadeja at Surat and Dr Dinta Kakkad at Kheda.
The Gujarat Public Service Commission had conducted a joint competitive exam for the posts of these Gujarat Administrative Service Class-1 and Gujarat Civil Service Class 1-2, after which results were declared and the candidates were then waiting for the posting.
Meanwhile, in the Gujarat Administrative Service under the administrative control of the General Administration Department, 13 officers have been appointed by direct recruitment instead of Junior Scale in Class-I.
Presently, all the officers have been appointed on probation.
