As the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022 are nearing, the political parties are entering the arena and have started making equal efforts to win the political battle of Gujarat. Meanwhile, AAM Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders are trying to surround the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) on the issue of inflation in Gujarat.

Recently, the Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal visited Gujarat, where he made promises including free electricity in the state.

Moreover, he is all set to visit Gujarat again in the next month of August. According to the sources, Arvind Kejriwal is expected to give one more promise to the people of Gujarat during his visit.

The sources state that the AAP convenor, Arvind Kejriwal will visit Somnath on August 1. Where Kejriwal will seek blessings from Lord Somnath and will also perform pujan. He will then address a public meeting in Somnath. He is expected to make one more promise to the people of Gujarat during this visit, considering the assembly elections.

Free Electricity Promise In Gujarat:

Following the Delhi and Punjab model, Arvind Kejriwal, during his visit to Surat, announced 300 units of 24*7 free electricity within three months of forming the government in Gujarat. In addition to this, he also announced a waiver of old domestic electricity bills incurred till 31 December 2021.

“What was done in Delhi and Punjab, we will now do in Gujarat,” Kejriwal said, adding that “the present government promised of giving Rs 15 lakhs but unlike them we are not doing any politics.
