Gujarat Chief Minister Participates in the '175th Vidhya Gyan Parv'

Gandhinagar, December 26, 2023: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the 175th Vidya Gyan Parv at Gujarat Vidhya Sabha in Ahmedabad. During the event, he highlighted the significance of the Gujarati language and affirmed the government’s commitment to promoting it. The Chief Minister praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and emphasized India’s growing global influence under stable governance.

Bhupendra Patel reiterated the government’s dedication to enhancing the prominence of the Gujarati language by making it compulsory in classes 1 to 8. He commended PM Modi for India’s increasing trust and interest from global investors, citing successful foreign tours conducted in association with Vibrant Gujarat.

The Chief Minister unveiled the booklet ‘Gujarat Vidhya Sabhani Avirat Yatra,’ chronicling the journey of Gujarat Vidhya Sabha from its inception in 1848 as the Gujarat Vernacular Society. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Gujarat Vidhya Sabha Chairman Shreyansh Shah, Former Chief Secretary P.K. Laheri, Senior Historian Makrand Mehta, and literary enthusiasts.
