Symposium 2022, the flagship event of Ahmedabad’s business network for entrepreneurs, Business Network International (BNI), took place on May 6-8 at Club 07. The event promoted business, networking, creativity, innovation, and more.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel graced the occasion. He said, “Gujarat is a hub of entrepreneurship. Due to PM Narendra Modi Ji’s vision; Gujarat attracts the most Foreign Direct Investment in the nation. The ecosystem here is also conducive to MSMEs and startups. I’m glad to see the culture of entrepreneurship growing in the State.”
Yash Vasant, Executive Director, BNI Ahmedabad said, “Symposium 2022 will be the city’s biggest networking event of the year. We are thrilled by the response it has received from our 2,000+ members. The Symposium has been planned in a way that there is something for everyone. There is business of course, but there are a lot of fun activities for spouses and also children. Children will also get a chance to showcase and polish their entrepreneurial skills”
The Symposium took place virtually in the last two years because of the Covid-19 pandemic but is back this year.
Actor Kabir Bedi got candid about his autobiography Stories I Must Tell The Emotional Life of an Actor. The book was originally published in 2021. “I wrote the book during the pandemic. It was tough to write about my failures but I have tried to paint the real picture. One thing I have learnt during my journey is: It is not the survival of the smartest or fittest but of the one who adapts the best.”
“BNI Ahmedabad has been in existence for nine years and has 40 chapters and over 2,000 members. These members have done business worth at least Rs. 6,000 crore with one another. The event is expected to facilitate the business of at least Rs. 100 crore.” adds Vasant.
The finale of BNI’s Got Talent, where members can showcase their talent, will mark the culmination of Symposium 2022. The conclave saw snap one-to-one meetings between BNI members and facilitated mutual business deals.
