The Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel, along with the ministers of the state cabinet, the speaker of the legislative assembly, and the Chief Whip, offered prayers at the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. The Chief Minister credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the consecration of Lord Ram Lalla and described the visit as a fortunate and emotional moment.

The inauguration of the Ram temple, termed as a festival for crores of Indians during the ‘Amrit Kaal’, was ensured by PM Modi’s perseverance and commitment, said the Chief Minister. He highlighted that the construction of the Ram temple is a proud occasion for the Gujarati community as the consecration of Lord Ram Lalla was done in the presence of Narendra Modi.

To facilitate ease of travel for pilgrims visiting the temple from Gujarat, the Gujarat government has allocated Rs 10 crores in this year’s budget for constructing the Gujarat Yatri Bhavan. The Yatri Bhavan will be constructed at a total cost of Rs 50 crores.

The Chief Minister thanked Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for providing land for the Yatri Bhavan and the arrangements made to facilitate pilgrims visiting the holy city, particularly by the special Astha Train service from Gujarat. He expressed confidence that the Ram temple would turn out to be a temple of vision, philosophy, and guidance for the country and help establish Ram Rajya in the coming years.

The Chief Minister prayed for the health and happiness of all residents of Gujarat and expressed hope that the development path that the country is on under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues with new rigour and helps the country reach new heights.

Speaking about the Ram temple movement and its subsequent conclusion, the Chief Minister said that it was the resolution of every Hindu that a grand Ram temple must be built at Ayodhya. The dream of Hindus was fulfilled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he led the ground-breaking and consecration ceremony of the historic temple. The Chief Minister also expressed his gratitude to the Hon’ble Supreme Court for removing the obstacles that had hindered the temple’s construction for centuries. He credited the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for swiftly initiating the construction work by establishing the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra that worked tirelessly to ensure the temple consecration on January 22 this year.

Marking January 22 as a sacred day for Ram devotees in India and across the world, the Chief Minister said that the resolution of the devotees across generations has been successfully realized under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for bringing honour to India from across the globe by the construction of the grand Ram temple. He also extended gratitude to the Gram Panchayats, Taluka Panchayats, District Panchayats, Municipalities, and Municipal Corporations of Gujarat for passing a resolution praising PM Narendra Modi’s leadership in the consecration of Lord Ram Lalla.
