Gujarat in the last 24 hours recorded 60 Covid-19 cases. The state saw one death, with 58 discharges. Total five patients are on a ventilator.
Total 12 cases registered in Rajkot and similar is the count for Vadodara. Ahmedabad stands third with eight fresh cases. Kutch registered seven new Covid cases. Gujarat’s total Covid count on Dec 17 is 60 cases.
Earlier, three cases of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus in Jamnagar city tested negative for Covid-19 and were discharged from a hospital in the city.
India’s active caseload currently stands at 86,415. Active cases account for less than 1% of total cases, currently at 0.25%; lowest since March 2020. Recovery rate currently at 98.38%; highest since March 2020. 7,886 recoveries in the last 24 hours increases and total recoveries to 3,41,62,765.
