Gujarat COVID Vaccination Update: 12 Crore Doses Complete

Vaccination doses in Gujarat are now close to 12 crores. Gujarat will become the seventh state in the country after Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal to cross 12 crore vaccinations.

On Sunday evening, the total vaccination dose in Gujarati is 11.99 crore. Among these, 5,43 crore people have taken the first dose, 5.37 crore people have taken both, and 1.19 crore people have taken the precautionary jab. There are 5.88 crore vaccinated men and 4.92 crore vaccinated women in Gujarat.

According to the sources, 9.81 crores have taken the Covidshield, and 1.82 crores have taken Covaxin. If we go by the age group, 34.86 lakh from 12 to 14 years, 60.03 lakh from 15 to 17 years, 6.25 crore in 18 to 44 years, 2.38 crore in 45 to 60 years, and 1.72 crores in above 60 age group have taken vaccination.

In Ahmedabad, 1.13 crore people have taken the Covid jab. Around 55.26 lakhs have taken the first dose, 49.95 lakhs have taken the second dose, and 8.54 lakhs have taken the precautionary dose. Moreover, from Surat, 90.72 lakh people have taken the dose.

Gandhinagar: 8.36 lakhs
Jamnagar: 11.80 lakhs
Junagadh: 7.57 lakhs
Rajkot: 3.01 lakhs
Vadodara: 38.73 lakhs
