In the first list released by the BJP for the Gujarat Assembly elections, 160 out of 182 candidates have been announced. 14 seats were given to Women in the first list. The women who have been given tickets include Matali Maheshwari from Gandhidham, Geeta Jadeja from Gondal, Sangeeta Patil from Limbayat, Nimisha Suthar from Morva Hadaf, Manisha Vakil from Vadodara city, Sangeeta Patil from Limbayat, while six new faces are in the fray .Rivaba Jadeja has been given a ticket from Jamnagar North.

3. Rajkot West: Darshita Shah
4. Rajkot Rural: Bhanu Babaria
5. Jamnagar North: Rivaba Jadeja
6. Gondal: Gitaaba Jadeja
7. Nadond: Darshana Deshmukh
8. Limbayat: Sangeeta Patil
9. Bayad: Bhikhi Parmar
10. Naroda: Payal Kukrani
11. Thakkarbapa Nagar: Kanchan Radadiya
12. Asarwa : Darshana Vaghela – SC candidate
13. Morva Hadaf : Nimisha Suthar – ST Candidate
14. Vadodara City: Manisha Vakil – SC Candidate
The Gujarat election will be held in two phases on December 1 and 5. The votes will be counted on December 8 along with Himachal Pradesh that votes on November 12. Of the total 182 assembly seats in Gujarat, 89 constituencies will vote in the first phase, and the rest 93 in the second phase.
