The civic body has got a new supply of 43,000 doses of Covid vaccination from the union government after running out more than 20 days ago.
All Urban health centres will once again administer vaccinations starting on Tuesday. According to the health department, the Union government provided 18,000 and 25,000 doses of Covaxin and Covishield, respectively.
51.09 lakh residents aged 18 and above received the first dose from the civic body up until December 27. While the booster dose was provided to 10.52 lakh residents, the second dose was given to 47.12 lakh persons.
At present, there are 11 active Covid cases in Gujarat. No new cases have been recorded so far.
