Vastrapur police station registered a complaint of a minor girl fleeing from home on Friday. The complaint was registered by her step-father, Sanjay Kapil Chaudhary.
The 40-year-old Spa owner told the police that his 15-years-old stepdaughter has been missing since December 1. He said that he married her mother Nooronisa two years ago after being married to another woman for eight years.
“I was at the spa when the incident happened and she was alone at home. When I came home around 8 pm, I saw that the house was locked from the outside. Some of the items from her cupboard were missing.”
“When I asked the neighbours, they told me that she had left a few minutes before he came and carried a blue bag.”
Kapil believes that she might have eloped with someone, but he wasn’t sure.
Talking to Vibes of India, SG Khamblah, Police Inspector of Vastrapur Police Station said, “the girl has a history of eloping. A few months ago, she had eloped with a boy and an FIR was lodged at the Vejalpur Police Station.”
The matter is currently under investigation.
