Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jayveersinh Zala says they were successful in unraveling a racket. It happened when one of their men, Vicky Zala, was conducting browser analysis and, through it, he discovered a link which led him to a Whatsapp group that shared pornography videos and photos.
Upon searching for IP addresses to track from where these photos/ videos were uploaded. It was found that they were being shared by a mobile phone owner from Dehgam taluka of Gandhinagar district. Jamnagar police along with Gandhinagar police, arrested Kisan Parmar. From him, 600 photos and 224 videos were recovered.
The arrested will now be placed before a court that shall further give its verdict upon the entire case.
Primary questioning revealed that Parmar had learned about pornography through Youtube. He admitted to running four international groups which had members from countries like Russia and France as well. He had also made a telegram boat with several members and 1,600 video clips were discovered from a hard disk there as well.
The police shall now begin to investigate the sources through which he was obtaining these child photos. They shall also try finding out if there were any domestic suppliers who supplied the same.
