Gujarat on Saturday logged a total of 965 fresh covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours with this, the total number of cases reaching at 12,60,493 till date.
Ahmedabad led the district-wise chart with a total number of 265 new cases on Saturday. The city was followed by Vadodara with 191 positive cases, Rajkot with 89 and Sabarkantha with 46 new cases among others in the last 24 hours.
After reporting the death of three covid-19 patients on Friday, there were no deaths reported in the state on Saturday. With this, the death toll in the state remained unchanged at 10,975.
Apart from this, as many as 928 people recovered from covid-19 in the last 24 hours and this led the tally of total recoveries in the state to reach 12,43,489 on Saturday. Also, the active cases of covid-19 in Gujarat reached 6,029.
According to the Health and Family Welfare Department of Gujarat, as many as 3.39 people in the state were inoculated with covid-19 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours. With this, the total doses administered by the state reached 11.84 crore on Saturday.
