A day after the state reported an increase in daily covid cases, Sunday saw a dip in the daily covid cases as a daily tally stood at 842. For the past few days, covid numbers in the state have fluctuated.
New covid cases have marginally decreased to 842 from 937 reported on Saturday, a marginal decrease of 95 cases within a day. The number of active cases in the state is 5,714. Total of 8 people in the state are on a ventilator.
While Ahmedabad city remained the biggest contributor with 244 cases. Other major contributors include Mehsana with 106 cases, Vadodara with 69 cases, Surat with 42 cases,Gandhinagar 39 and Surat rural with 38 cases. These six regions made up for 70% of the Covid cases recorded on Sunday.
