Gujarat SSC Results Announced, Pass Percentage Rises

| Updated: May 6, 2026 14:28

The Gujarat board has announced the Class 10 (SSC) results for 2026, with a slight improvement in overall performance this year. Students can access their marksheets online using their six-digit seat number. The pass percentage stands at 83.86%, up from last year’s 83.08%, indicating a modest upward trend in outcomes.

Out of 7.56 lakh students who appeared, over 6.34 lakh cleared the examination. Among different mediums, English medium students led with a 92.5% pass rate, while Hindi medium recorded the lowest at 77.2%. At the district level, Narmada district topped the charts with 90.85%, whereas Panchmahal district reported the lowest pass percentage at 76.42%.

The board also released a detailed grade distribution. Over 35,000 students secured A1, while the largest group fell in the B2 category. A small number of students were placed in lower grades, with those in E1 eligible for supplementary exams and E2 candidates required to reappear next year. Notably, the board continues its policy of not publishing a topper list, instead focusing on aggregate performance data and grade-wise analysis.
