The Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET), 2022 is scheduled to be held today on January 23, 2022 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The GSET, which has a total of 25 subject papers, will take place at around 11 centers across the state in offline mode.

The exam is scheduled amidst the rising cases of Covid-19 and thus the exam conducting body has released a set of guidelines and Covid SoPs:

  • Candidates are expected to reach the allotted exam center one hour before the exam begins.
  • Printed copies of the admit card and identity proof are to be mandatorily carried to the exam center.
  • Following the basic Covid protocols is mandatory too.
  • Candidates are allowed to opt to attempt the exam in either Gujarati or English.
  • Candidates will only be allowed to leave the exam halls once the exam gets completed i.e., at 12:30 pm.

The GSET exam includes two papers – Paper I and Paper II. The first paper is aptitude and general knowledge based. Paper-II is an elective subject-based paper, chosen by the candidate.
