Deputy Inspector-General of Police (Operation) at Gujarat ATS Himanshu Shukla, IPS, was on Friday relieved from the State Cadre on his deputation to the Centre in the rank of a director.
Shukla, credited for rendering yeoman services at the Gujarat Anti-Terrorists Squad, has been placed at the disposal of Government of India for appointment to the grade of Director in the Class-I Executive Cadre of the Cabinet Secretariat in Level-13 of the Pay Matrix for four years.
Meanwhile, IAS officer Pravin Solanki has been appointed Commissioner of Cottage & Rural Industries, relieving Rakesh Shankar of the additional charge of that post.
