Gujarat Titans To Celebrate Uttarayan Festival With Fans In Ahmedabad

The Gujarat Titans will join the fans in their celebration. In other parts of India, it is known as Makar Sankranti. Gujarati people basically celebrate the festival with various social activities, and flying kites in the sky is one of the main themes of their celebration.

The skies from Ahmedabad to Jamnagar are filled with a rainbow of kites. Gujarat Titans will celebrate the festival throughout Ahmedabad beginning on January 7 and culminating in an iconic finish on January 14.

Gujarat Titans will host the celebrations on January 7 and 8 at the Alpha One Mall, Urban Chowk – Ring Road, and Urban Chowk – Rajpath Club. These celebrations will begin at 12 p.m. at Alpha One Mall on both days, and at 5 p.m. at the two Urban Chowks. Fans are welcome to attend these events and participate in various activities organised by the Gujarat Titans, including the chance to win exciting merchandise.

Many preparations are made for this week-long celebration, which has grown so large over the years that people from all over the world fly down to the venue to participate. The International Kite Festival in Gujarat was attempting to enter the Guinness World Records book in 2012, according to the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat. Aside from Gujarat, the states of Telangana and Rajasthan are also enthusiastic about this festival. Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Hyderabad, Nadiad, and Dakor are among the cities that participate in the festivities. The international kite flying competition is held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat’s kite capital. This year’s festival will be held from January 8 to 14, with many visitors from all over the world expected to attend. Kite flying begins at 5 a.m. and continues until late at night.

Ahmedabad’s markets are flocking with kite buyers and sellers. Patang Bazaar, one of the most famous kite markets, is even open 24 hours a day, with buyers and sellers bargaining and purchasing kites in bulk. Many people even make their own kites and set up small shops in their homes to sell them.
