A new year celebration at YMCA club of Ahmedabad turned uncontrollable after a confrontation between the revellers and the club’s bouncers. This event led to vandalism in YMCA–leading to property damages.
People who had come to the club to celebrate the New Year and the bouncers of the club got into a fight. People who are enraged have been observed damaging the club. The argument heated up as the party came to an end. Individuals damaged the Dawar Club in anger. The event management has not yet filed a police complaint in relation to this occurrence. When the DJ finished at 10 pm, people ransacked the premises.
Many blamed the management for mismanagement and overcrowding.
