Gujarat University Uses Blockchain To Issue Degree Certificates

The Gujarat university becomes the first across all state universities to implement blockchain technology in issuing degree certificates.

As many as 49,528 graduating students of the university will receive their degree certificates using blockchain.

The authorities of the university stated that the degree certificates issued to students of batch 2021 have been built using blockchain technology. This will make the document secure and accessible from any part of the world.

Superachievers:

  1. Mer Asmita who is BA graduate – snapped 12 scholarships and two gold medals.
  2. Tandel Kinjal who is a graduate in MA Sanskrit – snapped 7 gold medals.
  3. Bharwad Ghanshyam snapped five gold medals in BA.

CEPT holds 16th convocation:

CEPT University held its 16th convocation that too in the online mode because of the pandemic. Dr Madhav Khosla he is an associate professor at Columbia University was the chief guest. Degrees were bestowed upon 646 students. .
